About Our Roots

Africans in Partnership Against AIDS (APAA) is a community-based, Canadian non-profit charitable AIDS service organization serving African communities in the greater Toronto area.

Established in 1993, we have continued to support members of the African community in response to the increased need for those living with HIV/AIDS. Our networks have grown to reach across Canada and overseas.

As we continue to grow to meet the needs of our expanding communities, APAA will continue to make a significant difference and build a welcoming environment for those looking to us for support. Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but, most importantly, through the actions of our initiatives.

"Act as though you can make a difference. It does!"
